Rythms of Resistance – Jena

Rythms of Resistance (RoR) Jena ist Teil eines transnationalen Netzwerks aktivistischer Trommelgruppen, das für soziale und ökologische Gerechtigkeit kämpft. Kreativ und laut setzen wir Trommeln, Tänze und kreative Verkleidung als Aktionsform ein, um Proteste unüberhörbar auf die Straße zu tragen! Ziel ist es, linke Proteste solidarisch zu unterstützen und auf friedlich-spielerische Art jegliche Regime der Unterdrückung zu kritisieren und den Spiegel vorzuhalten.

In Jena gibt es RoR seit 2020 mit wechselnder Besetzung. Wir treffen uns einmal wöchentlich um neue Tunes (Lieder) und Shouts einzuüben, neue Aktionen zu planen oder einfach ein bisschen abzuhängen.

Rythms of Resistance (RoR) Jena is part of a transnational network of activist drumming groups fighting for social and ecological justice. We use drums, dances and creative disguises as a creative and loud form of action to carry protests unmistakably onto the streets! The aim is to support left-wing protests in solidarity and to criticize all regimes of oppression in a peaceful and playful way and hold up a mirror to them.

RoR has existed in Jena since 2020 with a changing line-up. We meet once a week to rehearse new tunes (songs) and shouts, plan new actions or just hang out for a bit.
