The FAU Jena Climate Group invites you to two events on October 17 and 18 that view the climate crisis as an opportunity for solidarity-based organizing:
On October 17, we’ll screen the film “Every Field, Every Factory—Ideas for a Necessary Revolution”. The film explores what we can learn from the movements of the 1970s and from current resistance efforts, and outlines the basic principles of a planned economy from the bottom up. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the filmmakers.
On October 18, Johanna Schellhagen will present her book “How We Can Fight for a Future on This Planet.”
Johanna Schellhagen is the founder and a staff member of Labournet TV in Berlin. For 25 years, she has been documenting social movements, strikes, class struggles, and the climate movement through film. In her book, she offers strategic insights on how we can build unity and material power to replace capitalism with a sustainable mode of production.
